Guide

Import a PST archive into Microsoft 365, Gmail or an IMAP mailbox

You upload the PST file, point to the destination mailbox, and Loomigrate recreates the messages in the same folders. You do not need Outlook or any program on your computer, and the import can be repeated without duplicates.

Before you start

Import step by step in Loomigrate

  1. Create an account on loomigrate.com and open the "New migration" wizard.
  2. Choose "PST file" as the source system and Microsoft 365, Gmail or your own IMAP server as the destination.
  3. Upload the PST file (drag it into the window) and enter the login and password of the destination mailbox.
  4. Click "Test connections" to check access to the destination mailbox.
  5. Start the import. Progress is live: the number of messages moved and the current folder.
  6. When it finishes, open the report and compare the folder counts with what Outlook shows.

Frequently asked questions

Do I need Outlook?

No. You only need the PST file and access to the destination mailbox. You upload the file through the browser.

Can I import the same file a second time?

Yes. Messages already in the mailbox are skipped, so you can safely repeat the import, for example after a connection interruption.

Can I import several PST files into one mailbox?

Yes. You add each file as a separate account in the project and point to the same destination mailbox.
